Just looking at the fabric is hard to tell. Touching the fabric will definitely let you know if it's that time to get new drapes.
What else can destroy or shorten the life span of your window treatments?
- Water damage - leaving the window open or leaks from the window or ceiling can also destroy your "nice expensive drapes, blinds or shades." Simply stated water stains. Any water stain on your drapes or shades you need to get it professionally cleaned immediately.
